2011 csd Preview – Sergio Santos
One of the best surprises of last season for the White Sox was pitcher Sergio Santos. Sergio was originally a shortstop that was converted to pitcher. The thought was that he needed some time in the minors, but that proved not to be the case. Sergio came up right away and produced for the Sox. He was lights out from the start, and really did not taper off as the season ended. He will be expected to contribute big this season.
The picture on the front of the card was taken the first night I saw him pitch against the Blue Jays last season. I really like the way he pitches, and in the couple of times I have seen him interact with fans you could not ask for any more. He really seems like a good guy who made good on his second chance.
