2011 Packers Super Bowl

2011 csd Super Bowl – Aaron Rodgers

The last card in this set is fittingly of Aaron Rodgers. Much was expected of him when he took over at quarterback for Green Bay. Following a legend is never easy, but Rodgers has done it with class. He is also a very good quarterback who has now led his team to the Super Bowl. (more…)

2011 csd Super Bowl – Donald Driver

The second to last card in this mini set is of the great Packer receiver Donald Driver. Donald just missed the two Super Bowls with the Packers. He will finally get his chance this year. He is listed as probable for the game, but I would put money on him being on the field for the Packers first offensive drive. His effectiveness will be another question. (more…)

2011 csd Super Bowl – Charles Woodson

The last time the Packers won the Super Bowl they did it with the help of a former Michigan Heisman Trophy winner. Desmond Howard was the MVP of the game, and was obviously a huge part of the win. 2011 csd Super Bowl – Clay Matthews

The third card in my set is of linebacker Clay Matthews. I like the picture on the front because it shows him bearing down on Brett Favre who is handing the ball of to Adrian Peterson. Matthews led the charge on this play to keep Peterson behind the line of scrimmage. (more…)

2011 csd Super Bowl – Greg Jennings

This is the second card in this mini set that I came up with yesterday. I didn’t really have the time to make up a new card. I like the way the card looks though with the Super Bowl logo in the bottom right hand corner. This picture of Greg was taken in November of 2009 during my only visit to Lambeau Field. He was trying to put a move on a few Vikings players to set up a big play. (more…)

2011 csd Super Bowl – A.J. Hawk

Since my Packers are in the Super Bowl today I thought I would make a few cards to commemorate the day. I cheated and just used the template for the 2011 baseball set. I made a few modifications so that it would work for football I was a little leery of the football in the upper corner, but just went with it. Overall I like how the cards turned out. I have a few that I made that I will put out as the day goes on tomorrow. (more…)
