This was the first card that I made for this black White Sox template. For some reason Gordon has been the first guy for most of the templates. I guess since he was the first custom card that I made I keep going back to the well on that one. He was once thought of as a savior at second base for the White Sox. Now he is a very good ballplayer on this upcoming team. (more…)
Now we are to card number four in this tribute set to Gary Carter. As with the other cards this one was modeled off the 1986 Topps design that featured Pete Rose after he broke Ty Cobb’s hit record. Unlike the set in 1986 this one actually includes Gary’s 1986 Topps card.

It has been a few weeks since I had a Minor League Monday segment on this site. Today seems like a good day to bring it back. I would like to post some of these cards that have just been sitting in a folder since April. Let’s see how many I can get through. (more…)
I have posted a few Royals cards over the last couple of days. For some reason I just love how their team colors look on a card. One of those that I loved as a kid was the 1988 Topps cards. I really have the Bo Jackson and George Brett cards stuck in my head. I thought that I would give the card a try tonight. (more…)
When going to see the Tincaps play in South Bend I knew that there were a few good Padres prospects on that team. The two big named outfielders were not playing. One of the pitchers though was throwing in game one. That was Matt Branham. Out of the two pitchers to go that day Matt had the worse day, but he is still thought highly off in their organization.
