1983 Topps Super Veteran – Jamie Moyer

Jamie has been playing so long that he was actually almost able to have a card in the ’83 Topps set. Jamie is sitting out this season so I put his date on the card as 2010. He is recovering from surgery but would like to make a comeback next season. I really hope that he does. (more…)

1985 Topps Famous Lineage – Jayson Werth

Since it is Father’s Day I thought that I would put out some of my Famous Lineage cards where the player is featured with his father. 2011 csd Preview – Cole Hamels

2011 csd Preview – Brad Lidge

Brad has gone from being the Big East player of the year while at Notre Dame to getting the last out in the 2008 World Series as the Phillies closer. He is a veteran closer that now has over 200 saves. (more…)

2011 csd Preview – Jamie Moyer

Even though he is not on the Phillies I made this card of Jamie anyway. I wanted to make a card of him, and since he does not currently have a team using his last team seemed to be the way to go. Jamie is sitting out this season, but will attempt a comeback next season at the age of 49. (more…)

2011 csd Preview – Ben Francisco

Ben makes the set based on a night that I spent watching him get heckled last July. The fans were really rough on him all game. He did get some payback as he hit a home run in the ninth inning, but it was too little too late as the Phillies lost 11-6. (more…)
