merging my pictures and cards

1986 Topps – Chad Pierce

I made this card so that I had something to put on the back of Chad’s draft card as well as his regular issue 2011 custom card. I knew that Chad was a prospect, but the versatility he showed that day in Valpo was going to get him in my set. I still have to make some other UW Milwaukee cards, but for now Chad is the first that will be featured.

I took this picture as Chad was warming up in the bullpen before game one of a doubleheader at Valpo this season. The great thing about taking pictures at a place like Valpo is the fact that you pretty much have total access to the players. There is not a place that you really can’t go to get a picture.

  1. That’s awesome dude. I just graduated from UWM and am a big baseball autograph collector myself. Actually, I just started a project get every current and former Milwaukee Panther men’s basketball player that’s living and can sign on a custom card. So it is quite the project.

    • That sounds like a big project. I have plans on making a few more Milwaukee Panther cards, but time has not been on my side lately.
