1986 Donruss – Ken Griffey Jr.

Ken is the first player that I tried out on the 1986 Donruss format.  I took this picture on the first night that I saw Ken play in person. The Sox had recently picked him up, and I was very excited to see the Kid play baseball. He is shown taking off towards second base above. I like the design of the card. These mid 80’s cards are very simple, but there is something about that simplicity that makes them so great.
