2009 Highlights – Simon Castro Gem

Last year on this date I saw Padres prospect Simon Castro nearly throw a no-hitter against the South Bend Silverhawks in the opening round of the Midwest League playoffs. The Tincaps won the game, and Castro helped lead them to the MWL crown. It was a great pitching performance that deserves to be in this subset.
