Hank Aaron – SP

Two straight Hall of Famers that I saw in person at the Civil Rights game. With the Sox starting a series with the Braves tonight, and the Civil Rights game just over a year old I thought it would be a good time to get the card on the site. This is the fourth card today that is related to the Civil Rights game. I was thrilled to see Hank in person, and his card will make the set that much greater.

This picture was taken at the pre game ceremonies where Hank was given a lifetime achievement award. I knew that I wanted a picture of the Home Run King, but I did not realize how many other people would be in my way when I was trying to get it. I had good seats, but I apparently was not tall enough to shoot over the other people doing the same thing as me. I did get this one clear though.
