The last card of the day, or the first card of tomorrow depending on how you look at it is Manny Ramirez. Manny has really led two lives in the pros so far. He can be the dominating force at the plate that takes your team far. He can also be the guy that does not go hard after balls in the field, and fakes injuries when he does not feel like playing. No matter what he will be remembered as one of the most feared hitters of his time.
This picture was taken last July when the Dodgers were in Milwaukee to face the Brewers. We were excited about the last of our four game road trip because Manny was just one home run shy of tying Mickey Mantle on the all time list at 536. I saw Sammy Sosa tie Mantle, so why not Manny? It was not to be though. Manny came up just short on what turned out to be a double. This is the swing. If it had gone out I would have had a much more awesome card. This one is not too bad though.
